What I do...
I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2023 with a 2:1 in Law. After this, I undertook various internships at law firms in the MENA region and have worked as part of in-house counsels in the Technology and Security sectors. After achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice (Solicitors) Course in November 2025, I immediately joined Richard Pearlman LLP as a paralegal. My goal is to qualify as a solicitor via the training contract route.
More specifically...
I work closely with fee earners across a range of legal matters, supporting clients from instruction through to post-completion matters. My responsibilities include:
Legal drafting with supervision;
Preparing/reviewing contract packs and managing key legal documentation;
Liaising with clients and counterparties;
Preparing financial statements, invoices, and related documentation; and
Managing post-completion matters, including SDLT returns, Land Registry applications, certificates of compliance, and notices of transfer and charge.
This hands-on experience has strengthened my legal drafting, case management, client communication, and analytical skills, whilst providing valuable insight into the delivery of high-quality legal services within a fast-paced environment.
Outside the office...
I enjoy hiking, reading, fitness, and meditation. I also make a point of visiting friends across the country, which provides a welcome excuse to explore new places and walking trails. Weekends are usually spent on a padel court or following football. As a loyal Manchester United supporter, I have developed a healthy appreciation for perseverance during challenging times, a skill that has proved useful both on and off the pitch.
